Doing the rounds

A short update of software and system usage during the last ten days:
- I ordered a 20” widescreen monitor from Dell New Zealand on the 3rd of July. They quickly charged my credit card on the 5th. I am still waiting to receive the monitor.
- I am using VLC media player to access Windows Media Files, while waiting for a Universal Binary release of Flip4Mac that I can use in my Macbok Pro. Some times works fine and some times not at all.
- I am writing a series of lecture notes for two courses using LaTeX in the mac. I chose TeXShop, which seems to be a highly polished distribution. Very nice integrated environment for creating a PDF output.
- I have uploaded a few pictures to Zooomr, to see how they fare. To date, my most popular picture is below:
